A reflection on death and the desire to live
The new Q15 Art Gallery space has hosted the latest work by Argentine photographer Betiana Cutrona, with an audiovisual installation inviting us to question whether the life we live is the one we want or a lie we’ve grown used to living.
The photographs are the result of a personal reflection that takes as its starting point cemetery niches, onto which portraits and self-portraits are embedded that, with a veiling effect, convey emotions caught in a continuous time removed from death.
Despite the capacity limits, given current circumstances, the exhibition has been very well received and has sparked the interest of local television, as you can see in the news segment from @Betevé.
