Commitment to accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their physical, sensory or cognitive abilities, and whatever browser or assistive technology they use. We are committed to making it accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, which are set out in the European standard UNE-EN 301549.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. This means that most of the site meets these guidelines, but there is some content that does not yet, which we detail in the following section.

Non-accessible content

  • PDF documents. Downloadable documents (such as press releases) have not been reviewed individually and may not be accessible. If you need the content in another format, ask us and we will send it to you.
  • Images of the artworks. They carry the title and authorship as alternative text, but not a detailed visual description of each artwork. If you would like the description of a specific artwork, please ask for it.
  • Videos. Embedded YouTube videos depend on the subtitles offered by the platform itself, and not all of them have them.

Measures applied

  • Clear content structure, with ordered headings and a single main title per page.
  • Design that adapts to any screen size (computer, tablet and mobile).
  • Sufficient contrast between text and background, and a readable font size.
  • Keyboard navigation, with focus always visible, and a link to skip directly to the content.
  • Alternative text on images and labels on form fields.
  • Compatibility with current browsers and the most common screen readers.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 23 September 2026 through a self-assessment carried out by Setdedisseny, the agency that developed the site. The technical review combines automated analysis with axe-core —the engine used by Lighthouse— in a real browser, together with manual checks of what no automated tool can see: keyboard navigation, focus visibility, heading order and the meaning of alternative texts.

This statement is reviewed every time an important change is published on the site.
