More than 60 people attended the opening of the photography exhibition «Des de l’ombra, el temps» on Tuesday. A collective approach with each author’s personal vision on a specific theme: time.
Five of the photographers who took part in the photo shoot for the sixth edition of Retrats de la Gent del Barri took part in the challenge: Petra Aanderud, Natalia Benosilio, Pablo Mayal, Sophie Marie Le Muel and Alexander Querol.
In the words of Manel Sanz, curator of the exhibition, the work you will see at Centre Cívic Parc Sandaru is «a play of shadows, lights, darkness, colours impossible to perceive and images projected from far away, where the camera has the ability to capture the concept of time.»
The search for time as identity goes beyond the camera: it is complemented by a narrative or poetic reflection that is translated into moving image, in five video pieces that open up a dialogue with the viewer.
The work will be on display until 30 November 2022.
