For the seventh year running, Retrats de la Gent del Barri has been the go-to event for photography lovers who live or work in the Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou neighbourhood.
Throughout the day, models and photographers occupied the professional photo studio set up in the café at the Centre Cívic Parc Sandaru, leaving behind the collection of images that will make up an exhibition circuit in the windows of collaborating shops, centres and organisations, which can be visited from 7 to 28 June.
8 photographers, from 9 in the morning to 9 at night, captured moments of complicity with almost 50 models from the neighbourhood. An artistic collection that will be assessed by the jury in order to select the works to be exhibited, and which can also be enjoyed on social media: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
The studio was made possible thanks to the support of @ccparcSandaru, the loan of equipment from @fotokweb (spotlights @profoto, reflector screens) and the collection provided by photographer Manel Sanz (@manelsanz), who initiated the project and was responsible for technical and set direction.
