New edition of the local traders' festival in Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou
Family mural painting workshop, photo portraits, caricatures and more!
Once again this year, the Quei15bcn creative space is actively taking part in organising the neighbourhood festival in Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou, an initiative of the local Traders' Association driven by Centre Cívic Parc Sandaru and the Sant Martí district.
As part of the festival, we want to introduce you to the activity and values of our project to foster creativity through the visual arts and other forms of artistic expression. To do this, we will have spaces where you can paint, design small objects and take part in the game of portraits, whether through photos or caricature drawing. Want to know what you'll find there? Paint a family mural
Do you like painting, scribbling and feeling the colours? Discover the secrets of street art applied to one of the key elements of the festival. Throughout the morning, we'll all decorate the skirts of the Fes-te del Barri stage together!
The activity will be led by J Carlos Valén, drawing and painting teacher.
Carinyocatures
Caricature seeks the truth hidden behind things, either by exaggerating good things, such as beauty, or, on the other hand, by exaggerating flaws, which produces the grotesque, amusing image.
The genuine line of Pedro Espinosa will show you, with a gently sharp eye, the most characteristic features of your face. A gift to take home and share
Be a model for the Retrats Oh là là portraits
An Oh, là, là! portrait is a functional and artistic portrait. You choose your portrait, in black and white or colour. A portrait to value yourself, to treat yourself; a keepsake, for family, for friends. A portrait, because you need one... A personal, different and unique portrait.

These are the main activities you will find throughout the day, aimed at children and adults who want to reconnect with their creative and artistic spirit. An opportunity to enjoy different experiences and take home keepsakes you can admire and share. Where? in front of the Quei15bcn stand, at Plaça del Caprabo (Carretera antiga de Mataró)
IMPORTANT: your mural artworks will be on display from Thursday 31 May until 9 June at Quei15bcn, where you can collect them. Portrait photos can also be picked up. The “carinyocatures” will be handed out once finished at the same stand.
