RG.Baselga

An anti-academic artist, despite holding two degrees, in Art and in Design, RG.Baselga has returned to painting after a long period training future professionals in post-compulsory education, preceded by another in advertising and design. At her studio she alternates pictorial creation with bespoke training workshops: introducing artistic techniques free of classical ties –nor abstract ones, in fact– to small groups of children and adults.

This opens up a new path, inaugurated with the solo exhibition “Après 30 ans de traîner dans les bars” in autumn 2024 at SOFDFORTY Gallery, Norrköping (Sweden).

Despite being the alma mater of the Quei15/espaicreatiu space, her prolific work rarely appears on the walls of Quei15 ARTgallery. DODECAEDRE DIVERGENT’23 was an opportunity to get closer to her artistic research.
