Betiana Andrea Cutrona is an Argentinian photographer based in Barcelona since 2000. Her relationship with photography began in childhood, between the store and her father's black and white laboratory. There he discovered, long before dedicating himself to it, the magic of seeing how an image slowly appeared between chemicals.

At the age of sixteen he began to create his own images and, since then, photography has accompanied his life and professional journey. For years he worked in the field of social and portrait photography, where he found the connection with people and emotions one of his main sources of inspiration.

In his personal projects, the camera changes direction and becomes a tool for intimate exploration. Through it he addresses questions that are part of his own experience: fear of death, anxiety, the need to connect with nature, loss, love and the search for a new way of being present.

His photography is born from the need to look inward to understand the lived. Photographing is, for her, a way to stop time, go through it and transform experiences into images that can be shared.
